Are Online, Computer and Video Games Bad For Your Kids?
Well, It all depends how you go about teaching your kids about time management.
I believe that the violent focused computer games are not healthy in any way for our children BUT instead the ones that somehow have a learning focused theme.
If you allow your children to play online, computer or video games so you can do chores at home and forget what they are doing then this can become a problem with your children.
Another situation is if you want them to play so you can have some free time then this can also influence in them playing for too many hours and causing this to become an addiction or problem for them to release the games.
Focus Your Kid's Computer Activities To Only Educational Ones...
I believe we as parents have the control of what are kids do with their time. We as parents, decide what they watch on T.V., how long they play online, computer and video games.
If we don't take responsibility then we will have to deal with the consequenses, like erratic behaviors, not wanting to read or do anything else that is important in their lifes.
Are you ready to learn how you can positively introduce your children into computers then lets get started.
Some useful Tips to get you started:
- If you were to allow them to play online, computer or video games, then they should not spend more than 40 minutes a day. And as to video games, I believe that it should be done during the weekend.
- When introducing online games (internet games) explain to them about internet safety and how beneficial and bad the internet can be.
- When introducing Computer games, take this opportunity to teach them how to install the software on the computer. Depending on their age of course...4 over might be more receptive into learning how to do this. Click here to watch a video where it teaches the basics in installing a software.
- Video games should only be played during weekends and limit the time to not more than 40 minutes a day per child.
